A 3D computer model of the project is created based on project source materials such as preliminary sketches, PDF's, CAD drawing files, survey data and other reference. Architectural 3D CAD models, created by project architects and others, may also be imported and developed. Realistic materials, matching the project specifications, are reproduced and assigned to all of the 3D model elements. Optimal view angles are established and corresponding realistic lighting and shadows are implemented. Surrounding site photography is often incorporated and matched into final compositions.
