Following is the result of a personal project. I planned to remodel the Bath in my house and used my design visualization skills to help confirm tile design, fixtures and etc. After rendering the initial arrangement, some important changes were made to the design. I was then able to order all the various materials and fixtures with confidence. Rendering this in advance was a valuable, even necessary, exercise. The project benefited greatly from the pre construction visualization.
Since I had already modeled the bath and created the rendering I thought to compare the rendering with a photograph of the completed project. The comparison is shown below (click to enlarge). Pretty close match!
